Overview

Zenmuse S1 is DJI’s first dedicated drone-mounted spotlight, designed for multi-payload platforms and compatible with Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK. Powered by advanced LEP technology, it delivers high brightness, long illumination range, and multiple lighting modes—making it ideal for public safety, emergency response, inspection, and night operations.

Multiple Lighting Modes

Low Beam Mode

Provides a 15° field of view at 150 m, covering the illumination range of cameras with 5× zoom or higher. Ideal for short-range search, inspection, and general operations where wide, balanced lighting is required.

High Beam Mode

Utilizes LEP (Laser-Excited Phosphor) technology for superior light penetration, delivering a 4° field of view at up to 300 m. Designed to match the illumination range of 15× zoom or higher, it is ideal for long-range search, emergency response, and public safety operations.

Dual Beam Mode

Simultaneously activates low and high beams to deliver stronger central illumination than High Beam alone. Maintains the wide field of view of Low Beam while extending the viewing range up to 500 m, ensuring comprehensive illumination and enhanced situational awareness.

 

Strobe Alert Mode

Delivers high-frequency strobing to quickly draw attention and signal presence. Ideal for emergency rescue and public safety operations, enabling clear visual alerts in critical situations.

High Brightness, Low Power Consumption

Zenmuse S1 delivers 35 lux at 100 meters, providing clear illumination for reliable target identification in low-light conditions. With only 17 W power consumption in High Beam mode, it minimizes energy draw while preserving flight endurance.

Comprehensive Payload Protection

Zenmuse S1 integrates multi-layer protection against temperature, overcurrent, and power fluctuations, enhancing system reliability, durability, and service life.

Surface Heat Safety Design

A protective casing limits external contact temperature to below 50°C (122°F), significantly reducing the risk of burns during handling and operation.

Automatic Eye Protection

When the aircraft is not airborne, Zenmuse S1 automatically reduces brightness to 40%, minimizing glare and protecting operator vision.

Quick-Access Controller Controls

Customizable remote controller shortcuts allow rapid control of brightness, power, and lighting modes, enabling faster, more intuitive operation in critical missions.

All-Weather Operational Capability

Designed for demanding environments, Zenmuse S1 operates reliably from –20°C to 40°C (–4°F to 104°F) and features an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

Flexible Mounting, Lightweight Design

Zenmuse S1 supports single or dual downward and single upward gimbal mounting, allowing flexible configuration to meet diverse mission requirements. With a lightweight design of just 0.76 kg, it ensures minimal impact on flight performance while maintaining portability.
